For football supporters who have followed the great game of football over many years, coming to grips with the new jargon which now surrounds it can be a challenge. The main ones which come to mind are: game plans, set ups, zones and structures.
These words were at the forefront last Friday night at the Kevin Curran Social Rooms. Senior Coach Andrew Richardson used a visual presentation as to what can be expected of players in the forthcoming season. The words team game plans, set ups and structures were prominent throughout the presentation. Assistant coach Scott Grigg and Reserves coach Mick McMahon were on hand to assist Andrew as well. An enthusiastic mix of Senior, Reserves and Under 18s players were in attendance. Commenting, Andrew said, “Over the next six weeks...."
