The trip to Irymple was nerve-wracking for Eagles players and supporters. Thoughts like "Can we beat reigning premiers Irymple?" filled their minds. However, their worries were unnecessary as the team secured victories in all matches except for the Reserves, who still performed admirably with a draw.
