Eagles Netballers Battle Through Finals

Robinvale Euston netballers produced a mixed but impressive opening weekend of finals, with the B Grade, 15U Division 1 and 13U Division 1 teams recording important wins. B Grade defeated Wentworth 49–39, while 15U Division 1 fought back from five goals down to draw 30-all at full time before claiming a thrilling 39–37 extra-time victory over Mildura. The 13U Division 1 girls also impressed, overcoming an early deficit to defeat Wentworth 32–20. A Grade battled hard against Mildura but went down 44–37, while 17U Division 2 was defeated 34–29 despite a strong final quarter. With several teams still alive in the finals campaign, the Eagles will be back in action this weekend looking to continue their push towards premiership glory.
