Eagles first hit out..

Robinvale Euston Football Netball Club travelled to Balranald on Saturday and competed in two practice matches against Balranald and Swan Hill.


Commenting on the two matches club president Phil Lamattina said, “In all it was a great

hit out for our boys. A lot of our young guns were given the opportunity to play at senior

level, and were tried out in various roles and they certainly did not disappoint. In all it was a

great day for us. Also we must thank the Balranald Football Netball Club for their hospitality.

It was really good to pay the visit to them."

COVID-19 – Coronavirus


On Monday Don Harley Area Manager AFL issued a memorandum advising Sunraysia

Football Netball Clubs that AFL Sunraysia has cancelled its participation in the Academy

Challenge that had been set for April 1 and 2. Fixtures scheduled for June 8, July and the V/

Line Cup remain tentatively scheduled until further advice is received. Academy teams will

still be able to train, coaches, players and parents have been asked to observe the protocol

with respect to signs of illness and personal hygiene.

Uncertainty abounds at the moment concerning football and netball in Sunraysia.
