On Monday 3rd March, Ben Welch had just officially completed
the first leg of his incredible 444 Run, covering an exhausting eighty
nine kilometres from Mildura Base Hospital to his brother Jai’s memorial
on McLennan Drive, Robinvale. Departing at 4.44am, Ben ran with
unwavering determination, drawing strength from his personal mission to raise awareness for mental health and honour the memory of his late brothers.
