ABS Disputes Population Figures

There were just over fifty people at the Robinvale Community Centre on Tuesday evening for the release of the Swan Hill Rural City Council commissioned reports on the Population of Robinvale and the Housing situation in Robinvale. Included in the fifty were Councillors and staff from SHRCC.

Although the number of residents was low, there was representation from a variety of groups in the community including, Robinvale College, Robinvale District Health Services, CFA and Ambulance,

At the meeting it was said that between 7,000 and 8,800 people are living in Robinvale - more than double the 3,359 figure from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
